Christ Church Spitalfields

A gala recital to celebrate the restoration of the 1735 Richard Bridge organ was given by John Scott on Tuesday 30 June 2015.
Our workshop was saddened by the news of his sudden death some weeks later.

On the 30th of July a William Drake Tribute Concert was given by Gerard Brooks, Joost de Boer, John Wellingham, Thomas Trotter and William McVicker. This event was hosted by the Reverend Andy Rider, and the Reverend Bill Jacob in the presence of Wyn Varney, William Drake’s sister and a large number of William’s friends and former customers. The music was performed in a uniquely informal and relaxed atmosphere, after which all present were invited to wine and nibbles.
